Pre-Inspection

Every rug that we pick up or that is dropped off at our rug facility will undergo a full inspection and a consultation regarding the best type of cleaning for your rug and if odor contamination is needed. We do guarantee pet odor removal in most rugs.

Rug Dusting

Wool and synthetic rugs can hold several pounds of dirt and dust that cannot be removed by simple vacuuming. We utilize a Turkish rug dusting machine to effectively remove fine particulate matter that cannot be washed away. This dry dirt removal process is vital for the best premium results.

Rug Washing

We utilize one of the most advanced rug washing machines available. Our Turkish rug washing machine allows us to have complete control of the amount of water and detergent used along with water temperature that's used for the rug and free flowing fresh water so your rug never sits in stagnant, dirty water. We can deodorize and wash your rug, top side and backside, but also detail and power wash fringe.

NOTE: due to construction and dye methods, some rugs may require a more specific hands-on approach using our wash floor and delicate brushes for a very detailed cleaning.

Rug Rinsing

After washing, your rug is placed into a rinsing centrifuge, working much like a spin cycle in a home washing machine. This powerful machine allows us to rinse your rug with fresh clean water, removing soaps and detergent. After rinsing we allow the machine to continue to spin removing over 95% of moisture from the rug for a faster dry time.

Dedicated Rug Drying Room

We have a dedicated room customized for drying rugs. Most rugs are hung in a dry environmentally control room with airflow heat, and de- humidification. This fast dry time eliminates the chance of having a musty smell in your rug.

Post Cleaning and Detailing

After drying is complete, the rugs are rolled, inspected and vacuumed. This is our time to detail fringe and perform specialty stain removal if needed. Once the rug is ready, it is wrapped in paper and stored on the shelf waiting for pick up or delivery.

Rug Pad (Eco-Preferred Pet Proof Pad)

This product contains a pet urine barrier. This moisture barrier is designed to keep most pet urine and spills from penetrating through the pad and ruining your hard surface flooring. Eco Preferred is perfect for most area rugs on a hard surface. It is sustainable, 100% recycled and 100% recyclable, has no odors and will not stain, discolor, or mar flooring. It can be readily be custom cut. Eco Preferred is our number one selling rug pad. We also sell a thin pad for small entry rugs and runners.

Frequently Asked Questions

My oriental rugs can be cleaned in my home?

This is not a good idea. If Oriental and area rugs are cleaned in your home, it could result in the following:

As the rugs become wet during the cleaning process, the foundation will not dry quickly enough, resulting in mildew growth and bleeding dyes.
Area rug fringe cannot be properly cleaned.
The vast majority of dirt in a rug is dry particulate sandy soils, and none of that can be properly removed during in-home cleaning.
If the rug has pet damage, the intensity of the odor may become more intense if cleaned on your floor.
We always recommend removing the rugs from your home and off your wood floors for cleaning.

Urine odors and stains can be remedied with over-the-counter store-bought product?

Over the counter, urine odor removal products often fail and can create other issues such as color loss. We guarantee pet odor removal in our implant washing facility.
